Telehealth and Face-to-Face Sessions

Is therapy right for me?

Determining if therapy is right for you depends on your individual needs, circumstances, and goals. Some situations to consider that may help you decide whether therapy is right for you:

  1. You experiencing emotional distress or struggling with challenges in your life that are affecting your daily functioning and well-being.

  2. You find it difficult to cope with stress, anxiety, or overwhelming emotions.

  3. You have tried to address your concerns on your own or with the help of friends or family, but it hasn't been effective.

  4. Your relationship is suffering due to communication issues, conflicts, or other difficulties?

  5. You feel stuck in certain patterns of behavior or thoughts that you would like to change.

  6. You experienced a traumatic event or significant loss that you are finding hard to process.

  7. You seeking personal growth and self-improvement.

  8. You feel the need for a non-judgmental, supportive, and confidential space to express yourself.

If you experience any of the above situations, therapy could be beneficial for you. A psychologist or therapist can help you explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, identify underlying issues, and develop coping strategies to address your specific concerns.

It's important to remember that seeking therapy doesn't necessarily mean you have a severe mental health issue. Therapy can be helpful for people dealing with everyday challenges, as well as those facing more complex issues. It's a valuable tool for anyone interested in personal growth, emotional well-being, and improved relationships.

We provide both Telehealth and Face-to-face sessions.

The benefit of Telehealth therapy:

  • You can access it at any time of the day, from anywhere, within the comfort of your home, or while on your lunch break at work. As long as you have internet and privacy, you can have a session.

  • You can save commute time and money.

Research has shown that there is no difference between telehealth therapy and in-person therapy, and telehealth is as effective as in-person therapy for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Types of therapy that Mona uses to help her clients are all evidence-based and they include but are not limited to:
